Our exhibition 7xyoung – your training ground for solidarity and respect

The exhibition is a very unique place we developed for children and young people aged 12 and above. It shows stories of young people’s experiences under the Nazis. Autobiographical fragments tell of exclusion, oppression and hate – but also of friendship, resistance and solidarity. This made you curious? Störungsmelder on tour

Another project is called “störungsmelder on tour”. We visit schools all over Germany bringing a prominent person, a celebrity, with us for a workshop dealing with right wing extremism. TV-Presenter Dunja Hayali, Singer Sebastian Krumbiegel or TV-Star Klaas Heufer-Umlauf are very eager to work with young people. Each of them has a very personal motivation to become involved against right wing extremism.

Every celebrity has an own theme: Football-Star Thomas Hitzlsperger talks about racism in stadiums, musician Markus Kavka analyses texts of bands belonging to a right wing network, Comedian Fatih Cevikkollu works to racism, actor Ole Tillmann offers a training unit for courage.
The celebrities were trained by us, they are accompanied by two teamers, specially educated for trainings about discrimination, diversity and racism. Before we come to the schools, we research the special situation in the area and at the schools. Each visit is well prepared, we train the celebrities, we talk about the special situation and we try to offer an unique event for the students. As the celebrities are very popular role models, the workshops work very well. With this tour we try to reduce right-wing extremist and racist views among the students.
